Description
The Canon Aplio a450 Refurbished Ultrasound Machine is a high-performance diagnostic ultrasound platform designed to provide reliable imaging and advanced clinical functionality across a broad range of examinations. It is suitable for hospitals, diagnostic centers, radiology departments, OB/GYN clinics, vascular departments and specialist medical facilities.
The Aplio a450 incorporates Canon’s aBeam architecture, which combines advanced beam transmission, reception and multi-harmonic processing technologies. The Advanced-Sync Pulser provides precise beam transmission, while the Advanced Beam Receiver enables wide-area signal reception. These technologies work together to support image quality and consistency across different applications.
Canon’s Precision+ technology is designed to produce smooth images with enhanced lesion outlines, improved image uniformity and reduced clutter. ApliPure+ compound imaging helps increase image contrast and reduce speckle noise, while Differential Tissue Harmonics provides high spatial resolution together with enhanced penetration.
For vascular examinations, the system supports Color Doppler, Power Doppler and Pulsed-Wave Doppler. Depending on configuration, the a450 can also utilize Superb Micro-Vascular Imaging (SMI), which is designed to visualize low-velocity microvascular flow and improve visualization of vascular structures associated with lesions, cysts and tumors.
The Aplio a450 can also be configured for advanced applications such as 3D/4D imaging, Smart 3D, 3D Color Doppler, Doppler Luminance and elastography, depending on the installed software and compatible transducers. Canon describes the platform as scalable to suit a wide range of diagnostic portfolios.
Another advantage is its compatibility with a wide selection of Aplio-series transducers, allowing the system to be configured for different examinations and specialties. Canon also lists single-crystal transducer options compatible with the a450/a550 platform for improved penetration in difficult-to-image patients.
